Abstract

The implementation of bureaucratic reform policies in the city of Semarang shows good results. In 2021 Semarang City will achieve the highest score among 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province. Based on a study on the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the city of Semarang, the bureaucratic arrangement has shown: (1) the results of an effective and efficient bureaucratic arrangement, (3) the formation of a Semarang City bureaucracy that is getting tougher and (3) excellent public services that are getting better with the establishment of the  Mal Pelayanan Publik (City Public Service Mall) Semarang. Increased performance of investment licensing services in Semarang City until 2021 by Rp. 25 trillion and the decline in the unemployment rate in line with the recovery of the Covid 19 pandemic.

This study aims to describe the relationship between increasing integrated, easy and electronic service-based licensing services and increasing investment in the city of Semarang.

Increasing investment in Semarang City, both foreign investment (PMA) and domestic investment (PMDN) including micro, small, medium enterprises through integrated licensing services, improving business legality and access to cooperative businesses, micro, small and medium enterprises are getting better .

The increase in investment has been supported by the commitment and policies of the Semarang City Government through the promotion of investment, a better business climate and tolerant community conditions in urban areas. Availability of facilities and infrastructure for business development, warehousing, transportation, banking and extensive industrial product markets as well as the condition of Semarang City which is the center of economic growth in East Central Java and encourages the growth of the business world and investment in Semarang City and its surroundings.
